Ultrasphere Garners Award for Innovative Advancement
in Wireless Antennas

Laird Technologies, the

thermal management solutions, today announced it was honored with an
Electronic Products’ Product of the Year award for its Ultrasphere CAF94895
in-building wireless antenna.
The editors of Electronic Products – a leading trade publication for electronic
design engineers – evaluated thousands of products launched in 2006 on the
basis of innovative design, significant advancement in technology or
application and substantial achievement in price and performance. The
Ultrasphere demonstrated success in the wireless antenna market because it
is so small it can be hidden almost anywhere. The Ultrasphere provides an
invisible solution for many applications. It’s omnidirectional pattern is suited
to a variety of uses such as in-building systems or other applications where
mobility is a factor.

began recognizing the best products in the industry in 1977.
